Portable players that don't take 256g cards are totally obsolete at this point. Given that the 512g cards are down in the $100 range at this point, even the 256g is going to seem obsolete very soon. Some of us actually do use these players to hold full res CD and even DSD recordings!
I own Plenue D and like it a lot for long battery life (70-80 hrs) and small form factor. Price was half of what V is selling for in this drop.
Is V any better? Should I consider upgrading?
Also, how is the sound on V compared to DX-1?
I own this model (paid $300 on Amazon). Design is kinda awkward, but this thing is tiny (smaller that you'd expect), so it's not that bad as one might think. Good sound, long battery life. I can recommend this.
i feel Cirrus Logic DAC is for sure more pleasing sound than AKM DACs, also cowon knows to have good tuning :)
too bad just bought myself atc-hda-dp20 recently, i think ATC might be better anyway.
iatsbohdanBetter than devices that use Mini or Micro-USB3.
Micro-2.0 is still a valid connector, and considering the on going issues surrounding USB-C cables... -_-
I'm still annoyed at my tablet/convertible system that needs a dongle to use my USB drives, because Type-C everything! LoL
