FYI, these are fantastic basshead IEMs that have been revived as the FIBAE 6 available from Custom Art directly. Literally the same IEM, different name. Shoot Piotr an e-mail and he'll hook you up; @CustomArt is one of the most responsive, helpful, and caring operations I've ever had the pleasure of working with to create my FIBAE Massdrop Edition

After more than 10 hours of burn out, the CIEM play as I supposed: bass strong and well controlled, low mid perfect, mid recessed and a little bit weak, high rich and airy. A bass oriented CIEM as I expected and I love it. Not very resolving but sufficiently detailed, ideal for RDM, Modern Jazz, RAP and Blues. I hope time will increase mid presence or I will try a silver cable. For now 4 star.

My CustomArt FIBAE CIEM - MassdropExclusive is on the road. UPS tomorrow will deliver the CIEM and i will see it and enjoy the sound. Soon my impression and my review.

@CustomArt I have the 8.2, FIBAE 3 and the EI.xx with the FIBAE black on order. This looks like a solid offering at a great price. Do these CIEMs bring anything to the table I don’t have in a profound way?

WravenHi, MEs are kind of like Harmony 8.2 meeting Ei.xx - FIBAE MEs follow similar sound profile to Ei.xx they are just highly revised in all possible ways - with more mids and better highs, staging and imaging. If you enjoy Ei.xx's signature but wished for some improvements MEs deliver just that

How come I don't see White Transparent as a selection option for shell or Face-plate but it is on the CustomArt website?

What's the isolation like on these? I read somewhere that it has a vented/ported bass driver, will that affect the isolation?
