So far I'm liking my 336SE :)
WTF you got yours 2 weeks ago? I guess today they said they were going to be sending us some kind of update. Hopefully that happens today.
They were originally supposed to ship out on the 10th, I still haven't gotten mine yet either
they said they would get them on the 9th, and by the 14th or earlier we'd get an update... Today is the 14th, and I want to see a tracking no... and not with fedex for the pick up and then hope the best with USPS for the drop off... I'm really not ok with MD shipping decisions. Even with amazon I buy a $2 nothing and it's UPS all the way...
Looks like we are in the same boat. Seems like my HD600's are going to have to wait another week for it's new play mate. This is my first time with massdrop, let's see how this plays out....................
Well the email came I guess we are in the group that they didnt have enough to ship to us now the update is the 21st looks like we are stuck in another MassDrop delay. Don't listen to the people saying this amp is cheap really its a steal yeah the components are chinese and can be upgraded but the wiring is top notch(at least in installation if not materials) The wiring inside the Dark Voice amps is truly beautiful, it puts Woo and almost every other amp to shame. These amps are a steal and have more detail than Bottlehead crack(which is considered more musical but it could be bias or a judgement based on stock tubes). Oh well we will have to wait a little longer. You cant compare shipping to Amazon. Amazon is City 01 of shopping from the Matrix movies that have god shipping deals with the shipping companies no one can match cause no one has their volume. Amazon is now at the point they have a team of coders that can break down anything even irl logistics into an algorithm and then perfect it and identify the fastest way to make their piggy bank grow(company net worth that Bezos can then get loans off of instead of company profit they make little profit and it goes into growing the company's overall networth for maximum market cap evaluation which is the real prize in the end anyway and makes the company extremely popular with low prices and huge selection which can be browsed from inside the home anytime and the products come in a far more untouched newer condition than any store). They are now at the point they are going to create their own shipping courier service because their algorithmic analysis told them thats the next cheapest move in growth. Watch out for the asian scammers that Amazon is allowing(they will refund your money) but they make so much from allowing anyone from asia to setup shop with little checking that they can eat all the fraud charges that some asians are doing cause they can clear or close the account before the one month shipping allowance cutoff time comes before anyone can claim they didnt get their item and by then they have given fake shipping numbers and made off with the money. Yeah Fedex is anal and blocks returns(dont think they are like castaway with tom hanks counting seconds with a stop watch I talked to a guy that does 18 wheeler shipping for Fedex and he says they have extra quarters of a day or more to make it to the next point). USPS is risky package gangster that if you try to return a package you run a high risk of it being misplaced(stolen) and of course the gov(private company posing as gov to force constitutional amendments and make them commonplace) package gangster answer to no one and if they lose the package they will be smug about it in your face and you can waste your time trying to go up the chain of command to run into even crappier characters further up the chain(forget the complaint office thats like trying to getting a crackhouse in the ghetto to help you without 10 dollars). UPS is the best but only cause they are so big they dont give crap and really no one is able to watch the whole operation so whatever you say goes no one cares. Man Ive been shopping online too long I have the entire landscape mapped exactly.
