CamboIn there defense shipping is more expensive when shipping outside the US.
I had to ship headphones outside the US to a buyer and the only reasonable shipping around $30 was uninsured and no specific deliver time. If I wanted a method with included some kind of insurance and guaranteed delivery time frame it would of cost me closer to $60.
Massdrop can't just choose the cheapest shipping option, it to risky. I don't think Massdrop is trying to overcharge you for shipping.

I know international shipping is kinda high, as for why it's more than normal from your expierence... i have no clue.
