TheJokerVery late but I got a reply for you. Personally I use the fenestrated sheep skin and they are very comfortable for me. I used the stock velure ones for a while but they're very noisy for me as I wear glasses and the material rubs them. I found especially when you brake the sheep skin a bit they only get more comfortable as they age, can't say the same for the velure.
Is there any plan to improve the quality of these, I was thinking about buying them. However, it doesn't make sense to replace the earpads every year if you have to break them in anyway.
I just received the velour version of this product.
One thing I am confused about it this: inside the box, there is no foam to replace the foam that goes in the middle section of where the oval is, so that I would be able to discard my stock foam and replace it with fresh foam.
How come there is no such foam in my product box? And where am I supposed to get that foam from, exactly?
help : Velour vs Hybrid Velour - how does the hybrid compare ? Does the hybrid change the sound alot and in what way ( good and bad ) ? I have bought the Yaxi Hybrid Velour - for me it ruined the hd6xx sound, it sounded so veiled :(
BenSikatThe hybrid are comfortable and I really like the sound. However for some reason, they smell really strong. Almost smells like new electronics but very strong, took weeks to subside. I think it's the sheepskin.
