Our fourth collaboration with custom knife shop Ferrum Forge, the Buc (short for buccaneer) is the most daring yet—and now it comes in milled patterns for a touch of extra flair. It takes inspiration from traditional Asian cavalry sabres, which is in large part thanks to designer Elliot Williamson’s interest in historical edged weapons Read More

Working in the Operations side of political campaigns, I spend a good chunk of my day opening boxes and slicing zip ties. The Ferrum Forge Buc handled everything I threw at it and didn't complain once. The modified and exaggerated sheepsfoot prevents overpenetration, which is good because this knife came sharp out of the case. Highly recommended as a utility tool for folks who spend lots of time slicing stuff open.
The blade shape is quite useful, I got it in bronze supernova. Love the color and the pattern. The S35VN blade really holds the edge. My first ferrium forge knife. Will look for more.
Smooth action. Not too much Loctite on the hardware. The blue backspacer and clip look great. The milled, bronze scale has a distressed look. Good blade centering and paper cutting sharp.
In love. Beautiful blade. It feels a bit heavier in hand than what it is on a scale, which is good for me. I wanted something I could actually feel in hand. It is not too big and heavy to take on a backpacking trip and not too small to be useless when you need an actual knife.
