We are all bout the Gavko Nurse. Continuing with Michal Gavac's shark themes this is a stealthy and sleek creature that is built solid. This knife is both elegant for the city and a great performer for the backyard. It's extremely well-balanced in the hand and will provide blade fans a go-to pocket carry.

I can be a bit colorful with my language, for sure. I notice that on this version of the Nurse, if look at it closed, flipper tab downwards, it looks like a fish. The pivot is the eye, the gills are right there, the flipper is the pectoral flippers, and the frame cutout for the blade hole is the mouth. That has to be on purpose, it looks super cool. It's got a pretty pocket clip too.

Hey folks, Mike here. my second massdrop/drop collaboration and to me just as exciting as the first. Nurse is one of my most popular models and having the prototypes here for several weeks now, im super happy with them just like i was with the Threshers. WE and Drop did an excellent job in my humble opinion. Great action, superb finishes and not so terrible design if i can say so myself :) I might be biased, but im sure you’ll forgive me and i dont think you’ll be disappointed. decided to go with a flipper this time because Thresher was a nonflipper and its always a lot easier to just grind the flipper off if you want than the other way around :) Thank You all so much for the continued support and thank You Drop and WE for great work on these. Everybody stay safe and healhy, Best Regards, Mike

Hey Mike...since everyone is making suggestions on what you should do next, I might as well join the fray. Here are two of your designs that would be great if they were somehow made affordable. I love the action on my Thresher...it has a perfectly dialed in detent, is centered perfectly and is razor sharp.

I *thought* I had placed an order for this some time back. Any chance to confirm that?

Funny thing about those little protrusions (flippers)--last time I crossed the border on a trip to Canada, my vehicle was selected for a random search. And yes, the Customs guys found at least two or three knives they took exception too. One young Customs guy held up my Kershaw Leek and said: "In Canada, this is the same as a gun!" He must have noticed the confused look in my face, and added: "Because you could walk up to someone, push this lever, AND STAB THEM!" Crazy, no? But that's what the guy said. Now in fairness, Canadians think owning an AR15 with a 30 round magazine is crazy too. Couple of folks in California and Connecticut think along the same lines. Me? I think its crazy that owning either the knife or the rifle, makes other people think I want to kill someone. I mean, you know, I'm just a regular guy--I don't want kill anybody!

come on, g-10 or micarta collabs with gavko full titanium handles are not my cup of tea, and i'm pretty sure you can make scale patterns with g-10 or micarta (especially if its layered)

With four days left I'm starting to wonder what the price of these will be once the drop returns in August (the current estimate) and the knives are actually in stock. I am currently in @ $180 and would definitely be in at that price in the future (I know some of you believe it's already too much, but I really like this design). But as we all know, the listed price is for the initial preorder drop and that the price will increase when these are indeed available and ready to ship. So does anyone have an idea what the actual price will be for these later if I was to indeed pull out of this drop? Right now I'm guessimg $200-220. It's always hard for me spend good amounts of money to get in on the first run of knives that are months away. Especially if in the end, I only save 20 bucks or so. And with the current state of affairs in the world, I'd be amiss not to consider how much I could need this $180 dollars in the very near future. Right now cash may be more valuable than ever. I was in on the first run of the last two Terzuola's (the Persian and the ATCF) and also the Lynx, only to pull out at the last minute in favor of saving the immediate $150-175 and getting the knives down the road at the regular price (currently $179-200). Now that all 3 have been readily available, I have only gotten around to spending the full price on the ATCF and have been waiting 3-4 weeks now for it to actually ship from China (and who knows how long that could be) I did not know it would ship from the international warehouse or I would not have ordered at the time I did. Since I ended up waiting 6 months for the knife to be available, paid $30 more and still might wait another 3-4 months for delivery, I'm beginning to think it may have just been worth it to stay in the original drop. So, for those who have joined the original runs of Drop knives, spent the money up front to save later, and waited it out...Was it ever worth it?

Unfortunately the tracking info from China to the Netherland doesn't show updates, from NL to the US or CA it will though. Rest assured your knife is on the way. We're working hard to figure out better solutions for shipping knives from China.

Hey thanks Lucas for your response. It's very much appreciated. I looked at the tracking information provided on the ATCF and it appears it is on route to the country of destination. Seems to be moving finally and from this point I'm guessing it will only be another couple weeks. I understand how screwed up things must be on your end. Especially with the current climate out there. Its good to know you guys are trying and it must be hard to deal with any type of international shipping right now. I know the QSP Mamba drop is also a bit delayed and completely understand with everything that's going on. Just glad to know you guys are trying to help and get us the knives we want.

No left hand version ? I have a Thresher and I like it very much. The action is as good as any knife I own (about 60), including Sebenza and Norseman. I was thinking just last week how I'd like a flipper version of the Thresher. This would be great, but for me, only if there's a left hand version.
