These are my favorite set of earplugs to carry with me daily in my backpack. Perfect for going to a concert or to a friend's show that's a bit louder than expected.
I’ve used a lot of earplugs, I wish I had these when I was a teenager. They are able to filter the sound well enough that you don’t ruin your hearing for the night, but are still able to pick up clear sound.
Wear these all the time at work, and they do amazing at keeping out sounds while still being able to hold a conversation with another. Would buy again.
I don't remember what decibel level of attenuation I bought, but they are great if your spouse snores like a chainsaw in your ear at night and you don't want your hearing damaged.
The sound reduction is good but it attenuates high frequencies a bit too much, creating low fidelity sound. A good product, but I will keep searching for the right balance of attenuation vs. fidelity (for me).
Worth the price over cheap foam disposables, just for how long they last. They don’t cut the absolute sound level as much as say HEAROs or what have you, so they’re only adequate protection up to a certain level, but I am able to make out far more detail through these. I normally have difficulty with human speech at any level, but I at least have a chance of making out people speaking directly to me in a loud environment using these.
