Bought these direct from their website a couple of months ago. They sound amazing for the price. Great sub bass extension and impact, wide soundstage and amazing detail retrieval. I wouldn't mind if they where $150 for their sound. I would say comparable to the Moondrop Starfield. Very comfortable aswell.
BUT, they have a HUGE problem with cable microphonics, they are so sensitive and very annoying, you'll hear almost any physical contact and vibrations with the cable on any part of it. It ruined them for me. Overall I wouldn't recommend them, just for that problem alone, if they came with a detachable cable they could be "endgame" material at under $150.
Can anyone compare Earstudio HE100 to Alpha Delta D6 which is the same 40$ price on Drop? From many reviews I have read, these two both target audiophile and critical listener for an entry level.
SaitoHajimeNever listened to the D6, but at $40, the HE100 is a steal. Bought them last year for $70 and would gladly pay the full $90 price tag. Their only issue is cable noise, so if you plan on going on runs with these, I'd advise otherwise.
I just got a pair of these from Amazon and they are fantastic. I much prefer this form factor and tiny size to big over-the-ear IEMs. The sound is crisp and balanced and they take some bass boost EQ well. I'm not a big IEM guy and like to have them mostly for long flights on trips where space in my bag is at a premium, and these are all I need.
This is pretty much rebranded Sonicast Dirac mk2 which is very famous in Korea for its very clean and accurate sound reproduction. I think this will compete well against other single driver IEM such as Moondrop Kanas Kxx.
47" is rather long for an IEM designed to be paired with a wireless DAC. Wish they'd release a short high-quality MMCX cable. Other than custom, think only Fiio makes one.
