Based on reviews, especially the GoldenEars site, the sound looks to be as good as the AKG K712. Just needs a mild bass boost according to most reviews.

I looked up reviews from several places including Goldenears. I read what they had to say at the different sites. I do that research because I've reviewed over 100 headphones myself. I don't expect miracles with a $60 headphone, but I suspect this H850 is going to be very good.

YakovI really hope this drop succeeds, because the last drop failed, and they aren't available from anyone for U.S. delivery.
EDIT: I upgraded my commit to a 'Buy', so I guess that means I'll really get this.
