Product Description
Though they’re not made from marble, these artisan caps certainly look like it (and who’ll know the difference?). Designed by EVE, who you may know from the Mira or Moon keyboard or the titanium keycaps, these caps are CNC machined from artificial stone and finished smooth like the surface of a gem Read More
Both my caps broke within 24 hours. These aren't my first artisans, and I've worked with this exact material before - I know how fragile it is - and this is still unacceptable to me that the stems would be so thin.
If you'd like to try to fix your caps yourself, use extra thick superglue applied by a toothpick or wire on the edges of the broken piece, and then once it's in place spread a very thick layer over the exterior of the stem and set it with super glue activator. I haven't had any issues so far after fixing mine.
That backspace key better be a permanent resident of whatever keyboard it is currently on, I guarantee the middle stem will snap right off just like the escape key if you even blow on it.
Wow, I tried to put mine on (gently) after lining it up just like I did with the backspace key, and the ESC key just snapped. This is my first massdrop keycap purchase and I am so disappointed. What a waste of time and money.

edit: 1/26/18 update- So I contacted support and they refunded me the cost of the 1u key. Today, the middle stem of my backspace key broke as well. I am so incredibly disappointed. I liked the idea but I will NEVER buy from this "artist" ever again.
Warning to everyone about these. THEY ARE BRITTLE AND EASILY BREAKABLE.
I dont know if I should RMA these or what but I went to add these to my keyboard and just applying alittle pressure to put them on the stem and they crumbled. I didnt think I hulked them on there but watch out with these.
SupermitsubaI was coming here to warn of the same - my 1U key stem shattered as soon as I put pressure on it. I was able to fix mine well enough with some very, very thick superglue, but these definitely should have been quality controlled first and milled to looser tolerances.
What do these weigh? I run ergo clears and I need to know if I need to swap springs for heavier keycaps. Most CNC caps are heavy, I just need to know by how much.
Eve hasn’t even finished the group buys for Mira or Moon. No one has received anything yet in the States, yet he’s running another group buy? He also doesn’t update very often. Red flag, in my opinion. Just my two cents on the matter.
SlayerageI'm not completely familiar with those GB, but aren't those completely custom keyboards? I mean, there's a huge difference between cutting/polishing some keycaps and designing/building a keyboard from the ground up.
SlayerageNo,worries... Mira and Moon have finished CNC. The reason he doesn't update very often is because he don't speak English. He is very dedicate to our community and wouldn't settle for normal. Give him the time he need, you'll surprised by the quality of Mira or Moon.
