I generally prefer headphones to IEMs but do have a few IEMs for portable use. Price aside, these have a well-tuned frequency response which makes them easy to listen to. They have a 'do no wrong' type of sound quality, meaning they don't try too hard to do more than they can, and therefore don't have any glaring issues. When I use them after some much higher-end IEMs or headphones, I know they are missing some details and resolution, but they remain pleasant and I quickly forget about that and just enjoy the music,
These are very middle of the road IEMs. They don't offend, but they don't impress and for the cost, I would have a hard time recommending them over saving a tad bit more for something like a KZ ZS-10Pro.
Excellent deal, even for just the tips themselves.
The comfort of these earbuds is ridiculous. If you find that they don't fit well, you can swap out the tips to something that better isolates your ears. If you're not a fan of the sound of these things, you can steal these to fit onto other earbuds: the material they use for these tips are amazingly comfortable. A nice touch is the color coding on the actual 'sleeve' that slides onto the tips of the earbuds themselves to more easily distinguish L and R ears.
You can wear these cable up or cable down since there's not really a stem guiding the cable, which I could foresee as a potential issue in the future since the cable might get bent coming out of the housing. I've not run into any issues with this yet, but I would advise being careful with them regardless.
Build quality is excellent, and everything feels durable despite being plastic. I'm slightly bummed that the cable is somewhat short to my liking for some use cases, such as while connected to a laptop. These have a fairly balanced sound but will depend heavily on how you wear these in your ears. If you're unable to find a good seal you may find the bass to be lacking, but overall these are a great value and sound amazing for the price.
