EDC FTW
The VxV is a nice balance between technical and musical. It’s not the most resolving IEM at the $1k mark nor is it lacking in resolution. It doesn’t have the most sparkle or the biggest bass, but notes are clean and punchy and bass has sufficient thump. It’s a fairly balanced signature. It has a nice natural sound. There’s nothing that really jumps out at you, but I think that’s what I like about it. I don’t find myself focusing on specific frequencies/instruments/sounds, but instead just enjoying the music. There isn’t any one thing that stands out, but it does a lot of things really well. I think some may say that’s a con, but that’s what Fir is going for and I think they pulled it off.
