Call me crazy but where does this device have 18 separate inputs? I see 4 XLR hybrids on the front and 4 Line In's on the rear, surely that's only 8 inputs ?

GareanuYou have to purchase preamps/external outputs separately, usually as some kind of rack mounted device, and connect them via the ADAT optical port. Personally I'm planning on using this in the short term and investing in the additional expansion later on when I can afford it.

GareanuI believe they are counting them like this: 2 pairs line inputs, 1 pair monitor outputs, 2 hp outputs, 1 MIDI input, 1 MIDI output, 1 SPDIF in, 1 SPDIF out, 1 optical in, 4 mic inputs, 4 instrument inputs (shared with the mic inputs).
