wtf... 5200mAh???
my anker external battery is 10k and cost $25... whos buying this? and MD didnt even state the mAh for this thing as if they dont want us to know.
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM *scratches chin*
Hmm, at first I thought it had an inverter in it and I thought that was cool. Then I realized it was just a surge protector. Anyone know of any mobile powerbanks with inverters?
qwazwakYes, I want to know if this can be used to charge a laptop without the device being connected to a wall outlet. Although at 5200mAh it probably wouldn't last long.
qwazwakThat's the thought that brought above-average interest to this drop for me, but I've gotta say it seems very unlikely. The description only describes it as a dock/USB outlet, and the electrics to make it supply power from a battery would probably make it expensive and/or bulkier. So probably not? But it would be nice to hear an official answer.
Weird product. It plugs into the wall, so the charging cables built into the base are too short to be really useful in most situations. Lack of USB C isn't great either. The idea is nice but I think it needs refinement before I put my money into one.
OborawatabinostNo USB-C kills this straight away, but I don't see any value in this design over more straight-forward power packs (e.g. Lepow) with replaceable USB cables that are much less expensive.
I won't lie, this looks fantastic.
I love the multistage design and the plug in and forget aspect.
Just don't live on tablets or phones enough to justify it.
Bobbitsyeah I clicked watch late in youtube then I watch it late. Cme back to this, and then I realized it wasn't a showcase it was for something else. And the video is for something else in case you are wondering don't know what but it doesn't show the product.
You will find that there are power banks in the 25,000 mAh range offered by both Anker & Juiced. It's something I can guarantee was a great investment; My colleague purchased his own Anker 26k+ mAh bank, and he loves it. I charge an iPhone SE & Sony Xperia Z5C fully on it at least three times each per full charge on my personal one & it's been running strong for almost a whole year now, (purchased on the debut of Pokemon GO.) I travel a week a month on planes and have had no issues traveling with it.
