Support your wrists and add a touch of sophistication to your desktop setup with these wrist rests from Game Madman. Made from hardwood, they’re available in two different sizes Read More
Hi, I've been using one of these wrist rests for 2 years now, and the finish has suffered where my hands usually rest.
Does anyone have the same issue and know which product to use to touch up the finish ?
I was thinking of using paste wax, but I'd rather have a confirmation before possibly doing a mistake.
Thanks
In spite of all the negativity in here, I'm gonna go ahead and say that I just received the product and am very satisfied.
First, it looks really nice. The wood has a deep, dark color which seems to absorb all the light around it. Texture is smooth yet soft: almost velvety. It feels really nice just to move your hand across it: feels nothing like the top of my IKEA desk. Something I really appreciate is that it doesn't have a flat incline: it curves up from a steep gradient into a shallower one. The two large rubber supports have the perfect amount of resistance to stay steady while typing, yet don't resist when you try to shift the wrist rest.
Could I have gotten a similar product for cheaper? Maybe. I just needed something to keep my wrists level with the keys. But for something that I will use for the majority of my waking life, I appreciate all of the subtle details that went into improving my experience using this thing.
lmao you add 5 dollars for full size? and 8dollar shipping?
this is why i never end up buying anything on this. might as well pay 30dollar on amazon and get it in 2days
The one in the product shots is made of mahogany.
$15 is a completely reasonable price. You're not paying for the stock, you're paying for someone's time. Think about the time it would take you to make your own, even if you had all the tools already. Get the stock, cut it to size, shape it and sand it. That's the better part of an afternoon at the very least. Hell, most of the time I'd pay someone $15 just to save me a trip to the hardware store.
