I find the foam earpads extremely uncomfortable as well, which is why I rarely use my SR-80's. Plus the light weight of the headphones paired with the thick cables means the headphones are easily pulled off with the slightest movement. With that said though, I do enjoy the sound of these headphones and will probably join the drop. I think these are a good deal at the drop price; I don't think I've ever seen Grados on sale.
DeudermontThat's what I came here to find out.
Got a crazy privileged anti-globalization rant on personal purchasing preference of sub-par American craftsmanship instead.
Would totally click discussion again.
MaNiFeXDitto. I wanted to ask the same thing as you two. That being said, I didn't find the rant crazy. Childish is the word I'd use. Seen better trolling in my days :D
DeudermontAmazon has various options for you. As I have said in my comment, I have made mine circumaural as that's the style of headphone I prefer anyways.
The foam pads I got were very comfortable.
I've also seen a mod out there which looks like someone can put on the Beyerdynamic velour pads on there... though I don't know how much work would go into that mod.
I currently am rocking the beyerdynamic DT 990 Pros and have been for a while now, along with a go xlr! I was trying to see what other headset you guys recommend along with something to replace the xlr? Thank you!
I just got my pc38x in the mail today and the out put is quiet but fine and I'm happy. But the mic will not work when on my Xbox series and I was wondering if this issue can be resolved or if the head set is not compatible with Xbox.
Suspension strap for comfort, real carbon fiber cups for lighter weight and slightly more open sound, bottom color accents. I make all the parts to make these, check it out on my Etsy store.
I ordered the Dekoni Cobalt for $179 and the price dropped to $159 before they even arrived. Some retailers do price match reimbursements if an item goes on sale within a certain time frame after purchase. Does Drop do that?
