A surface and space designer with a growing collection of signature prints, Alison Glass puts all of her colorful personality into her distinct designs. For her collection with Andover Fabrics, Glass took inspiration from traditional batik style printing and created the Handcrafted Collection, an assortment of hand-dyed prints, utilizing the ancient wax-resist fabric dying art form. Authentically crafted in Indonesia, these prints reflect the love and focus of artisan craftsmanship.
Note: On this drop, you will receive 18 prints in either a fat quarter bundle measuring 18 x 21” each or a half yard bundle measuring 18 x 44” each. As every bundle is precut, continuous cuts are not available. This drop is limited to 57 fat quarter bundles and 13 half yard bundles.
The colorful yet subtle prints were initially meant for clothing and garment crafting. The cotton is lighter than most quilting cloth, making these fat quarters a lovely addition to any patchwork project and ideal for draping. As the prints are hand-produced, there will be natural variation between every piece and some colors may be slightly misaligned. Both sides are printed with the design, so there is no wrong way to place the fabric.
On this drop, you will receive the complete collection with the following prints: Bouquet (Duck Egg, Ruby, and Yarrow), Geese (Graphite, Lichen, Storm, and Tomato), Penny (Beet, Fossil, Navy, and Peacock), Petal (Charcoal and Eggplant), and Plus (Chartreuse, Lagoon, Shortbread, Strawberry, and Teal).
