There's no way that these extend that low at this price. These specs are suspicious.

Alejandro508They are generous with their spec. But these are very solid speakers in their price range, and are crazy good deal at $570. A lot of folks prefer these over some speakers that run 2x its MSRP.

I am still torn between getting these or the Paradigm SE 8000F's on sale for roughly the same price...

savvyI A/B'd these HECO's against a pair of POLK R700's in my home with my equipment (Parasound Halo A21, Gustard R26 DAC, Topping Preamp, over WIIM Pro Plus). The Polks hit a little lower yes, but not that much, say maybe 5% but the HECO had the best mids and highs (but my hearing is about 15% down). Considering the price difference.... I kept the HECO and sent the $2300 pair of Polks back to Crutchfield. At that time, the HECOs were about $500 each.

BeeBooBopWhatever… just look at the pictures and you will see that this speaker is passive and has regular analog speaker wire connectors

Hefty return cost, but thats doesnt shock me for tower speakers.
They get pretty large

I have these and am very happy with their sound. They are quite large so make sure that you check dimensions of the speakers and your space.
