Watches in the Edgard Collection from HERITOR add a little something extra to the classic stainless steel aesthetic. Crafted with surgical-grade 316L stainless steel in both the case and bracelet, each watch in this collection carves its own niche with bold color choices in the dial and bezel Read More
Super nice watch that looks like a high$ from other brands but in a larger case.
Amazing time keeper and for the $, and with a Seiko NH35 it’s hard to beat. I know there are other watches with the same movement but none look this good. Absolute must for anyone that needs, wants or just collects watches. Works with 22mm NATOS perfectly.
An excellent hommage to Sea Wolf watch at a fraction of the price! It looks and feel great with the original bracelet but i prefere it with the stingray wristband that i bought to complete the watch look.
I don't think anyone bought this watch because they were looking for a wallflower. This one is bright and bold and won't go unnoticed on your wrist, even in the more conservative color that I chose.
The real fun kicks in when you ditch the also-ran stainless bracelet and start experimenting with your NATO and Zulu collection--lots of possibilities there!
Damn, I’d forgotten I actually posted this for sale—it’s been five or six months. I think I’d prefer to hang on to it for now. Sorry for the false alarm!
Nice looks and specs for $150 but cheaply made bracelet
The watch is quite pretty in person, has a workhorse NH35 movement inside (hacks and hand winds), a good looking dial, a glass covered bezel that is perfectly aligned and has a satisfying rotation, and even a bracelet with solid end links. Now, resizing the bracelet was a nightmare (took a star off because of that); some of the pins feel like they have been wielded in place and don't come off no matter what. It's a solid buy, if you can put with the fact that you may need to change the bracelet if you can't resize it properly.
I got the watermelon dial. I was considering the zodiac, but couldn't see spending the money on one. There are a lot of watches I would prefer at zodiac's price point. I received mine last night and it seems to be keeping time well (as expected with the seiko movement). The lume is decent, but my phone couldn't get a good pic of it. The bracelet feels kinda cheap, but I expected that for $150. I do need to resize it and see how it goes. All in all, so far, so good.
An imposing watch with a couple of misses that keep it from being great.
There is a lot to like about this watch at the price offered here. It's well finished with a quality heft. It has a well centered date window, bold colorways and attractive hands. The lume isn't good enough to delight but it's not bad enough to disappoint.
Though this is not a negative, per say, do know that this watch is rather large for a 7in wrist. When I opened the box, were I an logical adult, I would have cut my losses and prepared to send it back. Fortunately, I don't know any logical adults. Although, I'm afraid that no one really pulls off the, "I'm wearing my fathers watch" look past adolescence. But, you have to make yourself happy.
The size of the watch, as an issue for me, is amplified by the fact that the very nice bracelet with it's solid end links is paired with a stamped clasp with only 3 micro adjustments. All is not lost as a jubilee style bracelet does allow for decent adjustment. Just know that you will not be sizing this bracelet as precisely as you might like. There's another minor demerit for the tinny sound of the somewhat sloppy bezel.
This is a good, attractive watch that I'm happy to own. There are sum of minor things that keep it from being very good watch. but there is a good deal of value here.
Design is blatantly copied from Zodiac, but the unique colourways are enough to win me over. Overall quality is decent, apart from some play in the bezel. It would be perfect if it was 40-42mm instead of 45mm, but it is what it is. For this price, you can't go wrong.
At around $200 - roughly what I paid with UK import duty - this is priced about right. You know pretty much what you're getting when you order, but sometimes there are little surprises.
My only small gripe was the clasp - one of the poorest I've ever come across!. No problem though, I bought a milled one of 'Ebay' for about $12 and swapped it out. The bracelet itself though, is surprisingly well finished, and the finishing of the case though quite industrial looking (the intended look) , is nice and smooth. Movement is running well within tolerance.
The lume is just about adequate for the price point.
Overall, a relatively satisfied customer.
