If you want to take your audiophile rig to go, you’ll need a mobile player capable of handling lossless formats and optimizing every track for the best possible presentation. Equipped with dual DAC chips, dual op-amps, simple controls, and a three-setting gain switch, the iBasso DX90 Digital Audio Player gives you the portable power necessary to satisfy all of your sound requirements.
Once you load your music onto the 8 GB of onboard flash or insert a Micro SD card, the DX90 processes every track through dual ESS Sabre32 ESO9018K2M DAC chips, dedicating a chip to each channel for full clarity and separation. To make sure you have enough power for proper amplification, the DX90 includes dual Soundplus OPA1611 op-amps as well as dual Texas Instruments BUF634 current output buffers. If you’d rather bypass the op-amps and use your own external amplifier, simply plug in through the line-out jack. Should the standard playback be not quite to your liking, you can select between low, mid, and high gain with the three-setting gain switch.
Keeping things simple, all of your settings and tracks are accessible through the 2.4” IPS screen controlled by a seamlessly integrated capacitive touch panel. Through the Micro USB slot, you can easily add new tracks to the onboard storage or charge the replaceable 2100 mAh battery. After charging for three hours with an AC adapter or 5.5 hours through a USB port, your iBasso DX90 Digital Audio Player will be good for about 8.5 hours of play time.
