While the problems the others have pointed out are quite annoying, I just wanted to add that besides the Problems with the QA and some smaller design-flaws these things still are awesome.
Typing on the keyboard now feels alot more like a keyboard with a full aluminium body (like the Pok3r).
The bottom plate with the acrylic layers look good and extends the keyboard quite naturally.
Once you tighten the screws down, the acrylic pieces dont move at all, which is quite good considering they removed two screws per side compared to the photos shown.
LinuCCI got a used one from someone, and I now noticed that one of the palm rests for the full hand addon is loose. I tried tightening, but the little silver disc on the back spins while I try to tighten it. In the end I can't tighten the screws at all, and the palm rest keeps wiggling.
DgordonAfter some time I had the same problem with one of the sides;
You need to solve the problem, else you will get some scratches over time (which you will really notice when adding LEDs to add some light under the keyboard, 't was a sad day).
You either need to make the base "bigger" for the screw (by adding something like a rubber-washer between the bottom / top of the acrylic pieces and the screw-ends) or shorten the screw-in thingie (where the screw goes in) by filing it down.
Hope you dont already have scratches!
