While domestic orders have been shipped out already, international orders are slated to ship out in about a week. Each power transformer is wound specifically for the country's specific voltage, so this process requires a bit of extra time.

I have to agree with some here. For this price, they should have gone the extra mile in the industrial design department. The layout of the controls and inputs would probably annoy me every day I use it. Do these sound better than Woo? I have no idea, but I'd rather pay the same price for the WooAudio Fireflies. I've heard those with the HD800s at a headphone meetup and they sounded amazing. Plus, the Woo looks like a $1500 set up. This amp looks like something built in a garage. It's like choosing a crappy plastic HP laptop over a nicely designed and built MBP.
You'll find a lot of amp choices in this price bracket. The entire Little Dot lineup. A Woo Audio or two. The Pathos Aurium Hybrid, flat-out stunning, in sound and appearance.
I can't say what this sounds like but, appearance-wise, it looks like DIY, and not great DIY, either.
What's with the volume control just a centimeter or two from a hot tube? And why is one transformer oriented at a right angle to the others. If it was unavoidable, why not reorient the center transformer so it's at least symmetrical?
First impressions being what they are, my first impression is of somewhat casual workmanship.
I jumped when I saw this latest offering for the Kenzie amp. I have heard it with my own music and the new Ether Flow headphones. BTW, they cost more than this amp. This is definitely an excellent sounding "endgame" type amp for any headphone enthusiast. I wouldn't claim it is far better than other offers in its price range as I have little experience with that. But I thought it sounded absolutely terrific! Unfortunately the Massdrop price is not low enough for me to consider an impulse buy but if you are in the market you really can't do better in a general sense.
People who are not here to purchase this amp should just worry about the items they are buying and let the rest of us decide what is best for us we know what we like
