I was too naive
I did have a a couple of comments down there somewhere saying these were ok. Well, they are garbage compared to FDX-01. The treble is way too much and the overall sound is way too messy.

Good Bass, Mids recessed, Treble unpleasant
Good Bass, excellent fit and comfort, very good for value. But sibilant and treble sounds "wrong".

Despite being quite strongly V-shaped in sound signature, I quite enjoyed the sound of these. However soon build quality flaws became apparent. The cable oxidised and turned green, which wasn't a major problem in and of itself but looked ugly and was indicative of the earphones mediocre quality. More importantly, one of the channels became much quieter and muddier, to the point where the channel imbalance and lack of any auditory information above a few kHz in one ear made it rather uncomfortable to listen to. I tried swapping cables obviously but that didn't help, and neither did Massdrop - apparently they no longer offer 1 year warranty on all products, only 30 day replacements. I was pretty disappointed that my $100 only lasted me a few months, but I guess that's just the luck of the draw to some extent with Chi-fi. I would recommend spending a little more and getting a more well built set, from a store that offers a proper warranty policy. I'm certainly staying away from any drops without manufacturer warranty.

Good sound quality. Can’t really say that it’s flat reference, but it is def good enough for live monitoring.

Great bass, recessed mid, overwhelming treble makes this IEM have a very bright sounding. Very good price for the whole construction and sounding.

The bass and mids are nicely tuned, but the treble can be overbearing at high listening volumes. beautifully clear sound and a decently wide soundstage. I had a LOT of trouble fitting the H3s in my ears with the vanilla tips, I had to purchase some triple-flang monsters to get them to stay in my ears, but now all is well. 4/5 stars for minor gripes, but an overall very good experience.

I found them very bright and fatiguing. I rarely use them. Still favor the humble Sony MDR PQ5 over them.

Great sound for the money! Its a little heavy on the low end but I like that for what I listen to on the go. Love the cabke it comes with and even though they’re large they’re very comfortable.

Right side speaker already going out. They sounds great and fit great, but when I received them in August of last year, I have taken special care of them and treat them well and use them about once a week on average and not the right side sound cut out and when I unplugged the cable from the ear mold and plugged back in the sound came back but was easily half. It now distorts with a lot of low end (I play bass) when it didn’t do that before. They sound great but already breaking after only 8 months. Lame.
