Drop price is meh, the 3 week ship date is not great for a $5 savings. Amazon $24.99 http://a.co/d/4S6AXau Read the reviews... these seems to be super dim and only good as mood lighting, also they do come with a few remotes, however they say you can use one remote for multiple lights you just have to point the remote at it. I mean it might be a better option to get it from Amazon, pay the extra $5 just to get it in a few days with the ability to return them if they are garbage... all sales are final on Massdrop.

30W is bad for LED and having 4 remote controllers for 4 bulbs seems like a nightmare.

Yea, but it's 30W and only 320 lumens, I've bought 10W LED bulbs that do just over 1000 lumens, it's kinda baffling how it can consume 30W.

ramblingenzymeThey're measuring 30w incandescent equalivent light output, as the Lumen is still not adopted by everyone. So for those who don't really know, this bulb is slightly dimmer than a 40w incandescent bulb or half that of a typical 60w room lamp bulb from the 90s.

30w? Dont y'all mean 3w? I think the highest power rating I've seen on an LED bulb is something like... 12w?

denaliIt's a 30w incandescent equalivent, as many people still measure light intensity by the Watt. The Lumen is still slowly being adopted.

Is it just me or are these bulbs energy wasters? An IKEA Tradfri is rated for 600lumens which is nearly twice the output of these bulbs while having an energy consumption of 8.6W, which would be less than a third the power draw of the bulbs. This would mean these bulbs are around a sixth in energy efficiency than the IKEA ones and those are not even the best out there. Am I missing something that makes these bulbs good aside from the price?

When first applying power with no remote intervention, do these just cycle through the colors constantly?

A comment on Amazon: A: There are no information on the package or the item description, but I'm definitely sure it's less than 200 Lumens. It's very weak and only suitable for a nightstand.”
