Well, they look good. And, to some sexy. But, let me progress, pls? :-) I have neither heard these, nor read Amazon reviews. To "Yirg", below, just b/c 22% on Amazon rate them 1/5 doesn't mean some number of those 22% have agendae to trash the product, right? Readers, I'd offer that to better form our more rational judgement, from reviews alone, we look at trends within any star rating: time, date, "origin", among other FACTS? C'mon, we know bots are unleashed to "review" products -like the US clown of a "leader", President "Jonestown" Wac(k)o- and see the glass half full, not always half empty, pls? Thanks, all.
Thoughtfully_CriticalPS. I'll likely buy a pair, adapt them to my iPhone, and travel about the DMV (District/Maryland/Virginia) where I work, look cool asf, and still be able to hear some sneaky clown trying to distract me. ;->)
These seem to fit in "work at home essentials" more than "audiophile" with the inconvenient usb and attached mic. It is koss, so maybe these are great, but i doubt it to be honest.
YirgI actually own these, so I will give you my impression of them. First off, they are super comfortable to wear for long periods of time. What are you are paying for is a great microphone and a decent music headset. These actually could sound MUCH better. Part of the problem is that those pillowy ear cushions actually move the speaker away from your ear. Even with that, they still are pretty good. The negative: I do get a slight buzz in the right ear cup when listening to certain EDM songs. Bass is mostly fine though, and I wonder or not if it's a defect in my particular set because it doesn't happen in the left ear side ever. This is a really good microphone though, much better than in a majority of gaming headsets. So get it for gaming and Zoom calls, and use it on occasion for music. Out of curiosity, I went and I read the Amazon reviews and those people must be on hallucinogens saying that the mic is poor. I did a mic test with the Koss KPH-30i inline mic. It's a night and day difference of quality. (P.S. It doesn't show in any of the pictures here, but the mic tucks up and out of the way into the headset when not in use)
itotronUpdate: You know that slight "buzzing" sound I mentioned that you would get during some rare bass frequencies. Just set Tidal to "Exclusive Mode" when using these. Audio can be so finicky sometimes. Anyways, that gets rid of the issue.
