Has anybody claimed their warranty from KOSS yet? Mine work fine, but I want to make sure I have any info I need saved for when this tiny fixed cord inevitably dies
Friendly PSA :
For all those having fit issues, while I never had an issue with fit, it is important to remember these are not like IEMs or earphones but fall somewhere in between.
They are meant to float on the edge of the ear canal with the provided ear hangers keeping them loosely on the back of the ear, if they are pressed in or the ear hangers too tight then the fit is definitely wrong.
As such, the sound & fit will obviously suffer.
It does take some getting used to but once you get how, it works ridiculously well.
I will comment those who have used the VE foams &/or iSine ear hooks have the right idea though the staging & sound may not be ideal.
As a side note, I've had the KDE 250 for over 3 years & use it infrequently mainly due to anything happening to the fixed cables as given I am outside the US, even at Drop's old price, it's not worth shipping to Koss if anything goes wrong but that's just me.
But I have seen others do mods on this so for those who are interested, just search.
Hope everyone has a great day !
HuaKuiFair enough. I am just wondering if you have not got a good fit.
I would only use these for certian genres. Worth 60$ but it is far from a dream.
I would suggest looking at foams from VE monks who also have better clips. This cost me like 12$ and caused the audio to sound amazing for the price and alot better than stock.
Turns out only one set of the rubber earhooks has holes small enough to properly grip the metal. They work well to hold the earphones in place. Good sound quality when positioned right.
it took me 5 minutes to adjust to my ears. i think that i'm very lucky.
i don't know how to describe the sound but i can still say that the sound quality is very good.
