good sound but not very user friendly
Love how cool these look. the sound was good too. I don't like how i can never find a good way to keep them in my ears. also don't like how the silver part that has holes that sounds come out of, actually fell out, maybe it wasn't glued on right. Also don't like how thin the cables are, they are so easily tangled.

Really hard to adjust
Might just be me not too good at tuning the arms to fit onto my ears. Sound quality is still very good, and for someone who tinkers and appreciates good sound, still a good set.

An interesting sound but a little strange to get used to. The comfort fact is also a slight issues as I encountered some sharp edges.

It's uncomfortable to wear, but...sound good
As the title says, it doesn't feel good to wear. But overall, sound is excellent. evoke old sensibilities Compared to earphones these days, the resolution is disappointing.

Weird, Wonderful but need work
These are probably the wackiest earphones I own, when you get these sitting right, it does image similar to having speakers close by and is an interesting sensation that i enjoy, the sound is simply nicely balanced and clean. But the biggest flaw with these is the driver piece that sits just inside your ear, I have average ears, and they are too large for me, after a while the edged start to cause pain from rubbing, so in my opinion these might need an adjustment in size or silicone sleeves maybe ? Don't get me wrong, I love Koss and own 4 pairs of headphones, but these do need work in the comfort department. If it weren't for the discomfort, this would probably be a 5 star, but I feel a large portion of the population would have similar issue to myself when listening to these earphones.

Not for everyone...Excellent for some
As many other reviewers have noted, these are WEIRD Earphones (Koss Fanboys like myself: "STEREOPHONES!"). I've been so curious about these that I've introduced these to my family members and dozens of friends. The verdict: they will NOT fit everyone properly...despite that you can clearly see Koss put a lot of R&D into designing multiple clip bars, adjustable screw-in depth, and adjustable clip-ear angles in their attempt to achieve a "one size fits most" product. Comfort: After about a week of wearing these (my work days: 2 hour commute on phone, 10 hours on PC/DAC, 2 more hours on Phone) and wondering if these would work for me, I decided to screw in the adjustable bars to their deepest position, and only then did I come to the realization that these earphones are designed to *suspend* from the top of your ear and swing into your ear canal, as opposed to using the bar clip to stabilize/support otherwise self-supporting IEMs. From that point on, I've found these relatively comfortable and great-sounding earphones. Note that just because these work on my head/ears does NOT mean they will work on yours; their fit is unique and nothing uncomfortable is worth owning and listening to, even if it sounds great (which thankfully, these do). Build: The housings are a combination of aluminum and good plastics, and the clip bars are proper metal. These sport an iteration of the infamous "Koss wire", which is unusually and sometimes worryingly thin, and in this case, relatively short; the shortness of the wire suggest portable use but the lack of an in-line microphone/remote limit their practicality for many commuters like myself. The wire ends in a nicely sprung plug. Sound: These carry what you might know/have heard as "The Sound of Koss" - that is to say a sound signature that carries vocals, highs, and most acoustic-heavy music nicely, are relatively forgiving, and have rolled off bass. The soundstage beats most closed IEMs, which is expected as these are VERY open and offer extremely little isolation. However, unlike most open-back on-ear cans, these hybrid earphones bleed very little, even on high volumes, to the point that none of my colleagues 4 feet from my desk (in the office of the pre-COVID world) ever noticed the atrociously loud music I used to drown out the rest of the office. Extras: If you have the patience to wind these up properly, the included pleather carrying case does its job, albeit while taking up a good chunk of space. You'll get three pairs of ear clip bars, which you SHOULDN'T SEND BACK TO KOSS FOR WARRANTY REPAIRS, just the earphones. Speaking of the legendary Koss Warranty, these are covered and came back to me relatively quickly. What happened to mine, you ask? After a 6 month period of not using these earphones, I pulled them out of their case to find that the glue of the plastic driver housings on BOTH sides has let loose - both driver housings were open. I suppose the wire shouldn't be a concern after all...I love you Koss, keep being weird & wonderful.
