Aesthetically different from other watches

Eveything about this watch (looks wise is unique and pleasant-in my opinion). I hv never owned a watch that is so unique. Was initially glad, but everything went south when I discovered that the watch was not working. The movement was just not working.....you can wind it, u can put it in a watch winder.....but it will not run & tell time like other watches. DROP support team was responsive, but I need to work with the watch distributor......I hv since sent the watch back to them and is waiting for a replacement. It makes it so much more difficult when u r not residing in the USA. (crossing my fingers....the replacement....if it ever materialized.....will be a working watch).... Finally got my watch back from TIMEWORKS (after about 4 months). Mr Max of Timeworks even acceded to my request to change the color of the watch face from black to a brown one (appreciate). Really like this watch with the brown face, its quite mesmerising to watch the large seconds hand (attached to a sextant) move around the pearlish dial. Only complain is that its difficult to tell time. The hour & minute hands are painted black against a black mini disc. The saving grace is the golden anchor that is part of the hands....it helps to spot where the hands are. Than again it forces you to stare more at the watch each time u want to read the time....a good thing I guess, because I find it addictive to see the changing colors of the dial.... Changing the strap will really be tedious as it requires proprietery "triangular" mini screw driver to work. Have to say I enjoy this watch very much. Thanks Drop for opportunity to buy this.
