When they first started dropping flashlights with BS international shipping it was supposedly because of the lithium batteries. Now they are shipping with no batteries included and still charging over $30 to ship a $40 item to NZ. Massdrop seem to be losing the plot.... and their loyal customers

$35 shipping and handling? I think someone screwed up... shouldn't it be like $3.50?
Another drop I won't be touching but was ready to purchase.

Doe this include the 18650 battery and not the two CR123A batteries, or no batteries at all?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FKGC9XM/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Almost the exact same light for $10 less, you're welcome guys! For those of you not in the Know, Sofirn is actually one of the main manufacturers for many of the high end flashlight brands. Chances are, if you stumble upon a cool looking flashlight while looking around, Sofirn probably has a cheaper, better version of it.

Yeah, absolutely, one very well known creation is the Thorfire BLF Q8, this flashlight was the culmination of the requests of many BLF(Budget Light Forum) members and Thorfire to create the ultimate bang for your buck flashlight that had all the features that many of the hardcore flashlight community was looking for. Thorfire went on to go to Sofirn to produce this flashlight, and the result became a huge success. Sofirn of course produced their own version as well under their own brand, every being very similar except for some arguable subjectively better details, for $10 less. Links below if you're interested. Many of the flashlight designs that belong to "high end" brands actually originate and are produced by Sofirn, they are the unrecognized company behind many of the best flashlights on the market today, and any person who really is into flashlights will know this brand. I only buy Sofirn, since if they have the desing I'm looking for, it will be thehighest quality, cheapest version of that design on the market. There are also versions with batteries, most of their amazon listings have both a version with batteries included and one with not. Many of us including myself have plenty of 18650's to go around.

Why can't anyone make a EDC sized flashlight with onboard USB charging and a smart selector ring? I cant be the only person who would buy it at a pretty decent price point.

This is just amazing to me that you charge 40$ shipping and handling to my country for a 41.99$ product, which is 45 with shipping on gearbest: https://www.gearbest.com/led-flashlights/pp_596612.html Massdrop you should really do some thinking and take actions so things like that don't happen, it beats the whole point of buying in MASS to DROP the price...

TigpyroIt seems you need to depress the switch (on) for it to charge. I learned the hard way.
