Usually, I'd defend Drop from people complaining about 'no discounts' without seeing the rewards points, but this time there really is no discount.
$5 worth of credits, really?
If I was going to dive back into the world of hybrids and tri-brids, I'd be curious to check these out. The reviews make it out to be a bassier Clairvoyance but I need to see more before I invest in non-single driver headphones again.
I haven’t personally heard the clairvoyance yet although it was at the top of my list before I saw BGGAR’s review of the Xenns Up. I took the chance on this set and absolutely love them! BGGAR’s assessment of the way they handle the mid-bass into the lower mids is a very accurate to my ears..the bass has a nice shelf to it but the drivers/crossovers delegate the frequency responsibilities very well and the mids are unaffected in any negative way by the presence of the upper-bass. Def a basshead set but it does it very admirably and doesn’t sacrifice overall tonality or balance or detail retrieval for the sake of its’ bass.
Yeah they use the standard (sorta ha) 4.9mm tip size. I don’t have the blessing 2 to compare personally but I do absolutely trust that Quicklytoo4 is correct 👍🏼
