Got the Adagio III couple years ago, and at first I was very disappointed that I didn't get a better selection from the grab bag. After a while, I found myself grabbing the Adagio III more and more for fun listening. Now they are lost and I am ordering another pair of the Adagio III! Thanks MassDrop for introducing me to Final Audio. They are quality headphones for sure, as I found out.
Got the Heaven II
Impressive mids, bass is crisp and clean and doesn't overwhelm the rest of the spectrum, highs are just a little soft but my hearing in that range isn't all that great anyway.

ffelden1I never had transaction experience with anyone in France, but I've sold a $500 worth item to England and bought a 90 Euro worth item from Germany. I didn't pay any duty for the one I bought from Germany, so that is okay. But for the one I sold to England, he paid about 30% VAT (he said he paid $140) for it even though I sent is as gift. I know it's to different country, but since it's in same continent, hope it kinda helps you...
I received a heaven IV.
After running on FIIO new X3 for a while (till today), I found it's not a earphone best at sound quality.
I'm comparing it to a Grado GR10 (Yeah it's unfair but that's the only single unit left around me) and HD800 (for song reference), and the difference is very obvious.
Basically, it's GR10 with a low pass filter cut too early and too fast, and a compression with bass (I would describe it as a compressor at ratio of 2~3 running under a LPF of a few hundreds of Hertz slow rolling down, if this makes it more clear).
Details aren't outstanding, and I have to actually seek for those.
Vocal is a sad story. I would expect it to be better that this, but when a vocal flooded by bass and missing high harmonies, it's just.. well singer with a breathing mask.
Piano sounds like the lid is off, and a wooden container covers the whole piano in addition.
In summary it's that type like look nice, but sound cheap.
Will I keep it? Well probably yes. When outdoors, public transport, queuing, and so on that I want to separate the environment noise. In those cases sound quality is not the top requirement, and I can even bear microphonics of it when I'm not looking for sound quality.
BTW it sounds fine with trance. I don't have a lot of those, too bad.
IcanhazdropMate, I can only say I'm sorry you had a bad experience with the Heaven IV, although the Heaven IV isn't known for bass in the first place. I have been using the IV exclusively playing off the Sony Xperia Z3 phone, sounded amazing (of course, I had to adjust the EQ to get a better balance of bass in, but nonetheless it sounded great with many different genres of music that I listen to, even metal was clear.)
lpjz290Well, I was trying to say that mine one got a enough bass just without details. Maybe I asked too much for a lower end range earpiece.
Anyway, glad to see you have a nice experience with heaven V :)
Hi guys, please stop judging a fair earphone with your cellphones, because a good resource is also important, the ones who think no improvement, just because you need to change to a serious DAP.
