i'm looking for earbuds for every day use, should i buy this? (shipping for me is 15 dollar)
Same here, any advice?
Seems like there's actually a better chance (15%) of getting the highest priced option, the ms02, than there is of getting the lowest priced options, 12.6% of getting the ts01 or ts01.1. So it's tempting. I'm not really an "audiophile" so I probably couldn't tell the difference anyway... But are they at least decent?
From my understanding some of the problems these iems have is driver flex, tangling wires, and veiled mids.
Positive thing is that the sound signature can be very good with correct EQ and overall good build. Now these are not my words but some of things I heard, I am in this drop personally so that I can decide for myself.
I am doing a review on these and seeing how I like them, with that being said, I dont plan to keep them because I doubt they will change my opinion about my current daily drvier. 99% sure ill be giving these away on my channel later. Hope that helped
Thanks, I know just enough about audio/hi-fi to follow what your getting at (with veiled mids, driver flex, etc.) but what I'm really hoping to hear is if they actually warrant the price point they are sold at? For instance is the brand/model comparable or does it delivery overall worse performance than another $40 in-ear I could just buy off amazon? What about the $120 pair, etc?
In essence, is my money better spent elsewhere?
Either way I just bought in, I'm a sucker for the odds listed here.
Most of my reviews are dependent on "price." I wouldn't call an item good if they don't have the appropriate pricing. With that being said, I haven't tried these myself yet so I can't say for sure if they are worth the price. All i know is that there are problems and some good things said and noted. I will consider putting them side by side with something similar on my review to see if they do in fact rival 40 dollar ones or 120 dollar ones etc
Sweet, I look forward to it!
yup, my channel will prob come up if you type soulsiklab on youtube. I have same picture here and there so it should be easy to find. Let me know if any other questions and dont forget to join frequent giveaways
Thank you for the information.
I found them to be pretty V-shaped in sound. They sound good if you like that signature. the bass is pretty overwhelming for me but I'm used to slightly warm or flat sounding headphones
I've been in this drop twice now (technically 4 times if you count that I bought 2 pairs each round)
I've received all of the TS line now and have to say that they are decent, but not great.
My first pair of TS02 is starting to fail (you can hear the driver crackle on bassy tracks)
Sound quality is ok, but build leaves something to be desired. (Rosewill makes some wooden IEMs for ~9$ which are comparable if not better sound and have a nicer cable. They, like the thinksounds, also dissolve after a year...)
15$ shipping is awfully steep for these. I'd be hesitant to pay more than 35$ USD for these and even then I'd feel like there are other options at that price point.
Ok thanks I think I'm going to pass on this one then because I live in Belgium so It would be 15 dollar shipping and probably another 15 dollar for import or even more. but thanks for the help.
But you never told us what your daily driver was...
I have AKG M220's [Love 'em]
akg m220s are headphones right? i thought we were talking about iems but anyhow, if we are talking about headphones, my daily driver right now would be HD6xx (fully enjoying them right now). However on normal basis I would have to call my stax my favourite daily drivers
My daily drivers are the Sennheiser HD 4.20s and some 20 dollar Phillips earbuds (she8000)
