Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

They are NOT fake. Maybe you should do some research before you scream fire. They're almost certainly grey-market, i.e. a retailer dumping their chord stock.
The company you should point your anger at is CHORD. Massdrop is doing this to provide better deal for the customer.
Given the horrible refund and return policy Massdrop has would concern me
guisess93 is just providing information, it's just a matter of how you decide to use his information. I received an Aune DAP and realized after two months it stopped working properly and MD stated they only allow returns or replacement if I contact them within 30 days of having received it. My concern is if the Mojo stops working shortly after you receive it, you have 30 days from Massdrop and 0 days from Chord, then you're SOL!
But hey, you seem pretty committed to this whole being a dick thing so you do you.
On a side note, another sad example of gender inequality. Even in swearing, women are still associated with the worst thing. I wonder if my feminist nazi friends know about this and what their reaction could possibly be if they do :)))
I saw your original post about the Mojo complaint last week, and even then thought it completely irrelevant to this Cavalli drop. Keep the noise somewhere relevant. Upvotes don't matter, there are plenty of idiots who seem to like irrelevant noise. Don't use upvotes as a measure of self worth, especially as there are no downvotes allowed here.
This little digression is a perfect example of why the original post about Chord equipment doesn't belong here, it just generates distraction that has naught to do with Cavalli.
