Unfortunately, this hasn't been the case for almost a year now. Why keep advertising it when there isn't any in stock? It's such a tease. I feel like like Charlie Brown going to kick the football and you pull it away at the last second, causing me to kick air and end up on my head. One day Charlie Brown will reach his limit and snap, calling in the Pumpkin King to come and get your ass.
All I can do is hope that maybe one day there really will be a lefty version available again.
So, I managed to get a package from Greece in 2 weeks. Still waiting on this knife 2 months after being told it was shipped. My guess is it'll be another month before I get it, if I'm lucky.
Ok, it's been a little over a week since I received the shipping notification, and I still can't get any tracking information. All I get from Drop's Transactions page is this "Tracking not found" message:
So many nice knives I'd be interested in. Too bad they are all DROP branded. It'd be like purchasing a knife from Walmart or Amazon and having "Walmart" or "Amazon" laser-etched into the blade. This totally kills all interest I might have.
Chinese-made at prices approaching US-made. No thank you. We makes a decent enough knife, but anyone who knows the economics knows this should be a fraction of the price. Just ask yourself what the price to buy this in China would be. The name means a whole lot less as soon as it becomes an offshore production.
And don't give me any BS about the steel price, either. I can buy enough S35vn ... in the US ... RETAIL ... to make 4 or 5 of these knives. For $30.
Hey Drop - you want US production knife prices - make them onshore.
billcman if you can make a knife as well as WE for $30, you should be slaughtering the custom knife market right now when you aren't snorting a GDP of nasal entertainment off a GDP's worth of escorts.
