How do these compare to the KRK Rokit 5s? Would they be considered an upgrade or similar performance?

drslackI just join the drop for the JBL LSR30X after Massdrop updated the warranty conditions and dropped the price. I've compared the LSR305 and the Yamaha HS5 on several occasions in the studio and I still prefer the sound of the LSR305 therefore the LSR30X with the extra volume matching and the beautiful glossy finish is definitely a treat for the asking price. No active monitor speakers can come close to the LSR305 at this price point. I hope Massdrop will have another drop for the even better sounding JBL LSR705P in the future. I've been drooling over the LSR705P ever since I heard it in January this year :-D
