I just received an email promoting the Delica in this drop -- and it is already sold out!
Drop (appropriate name for droppings) is on a fast track to nowhere.
This is the worst quality Spyderco I've seen and I own several, including other Seki models. The lamination line is almost touching the edge on one side, the grind is uneven and doesn't go all the way to the heel (terminology?) on one side, and it's not even sharp enough to cut skin when drawn across a thumb or finger. That last one doesn't bother me because no factory edge is ever sayisfactory to me, but it does add to the impression of a very "just ship whatever" approach. Also, was anyone else surprised that the lock bar is more of a brown mustard color than what it looked like in the pictures?

Esoxanglerthe gallery images are all photoshopped. what you see is a glossy gold bc it was originally silver and the blade has photoshopped specs. now that im really looking at it its really badly photoshopped and i should have noticed that from the start.
EsoxanglerThat would bug me. If it helps SG2 Steel is very expensive, I’m guessing that’s why it was cladded with a lower grade steel as to keep the cost down. So it’s possible your knife has a higher percentage or ratio of SG2 steel which means you got more than your money’s worth.
