I gotta say, the amber backlighting and lifted keys look pretty awesome. I have MX black at home currently so I'd assume this is similar but "lighter", which is a double-edged sword for those of us who are a bit "hamfisted". Although I'm not a gamer I'm happy they've kickstarted the keyboard industry into getting serious. I'd go for a premium version of this. Quality Assurance and a year or so getting next year's model prepped. I already have more keyboards than computers though, so I'm forcing myself to let this one go. Want!

wontonotnowHow does black feel for you? I wanted to try a linear switch but not sure to get black or red. Many have reported that black requires A LOT more strength.
I used to use the old school mechanical looking mac keyboard and I think they might be somewhat comparable to mx blacks?
Im currently on a mx brown and a mx blue

Pantsu_BearSorry, VERY late reply but you asked about MX Black. From my experience it is quite nice. It feels awesome once I get to typing a long email or a run-on sentence such as this. That said, my coworker has issues with her hands and can't type on the rubber-dome keyboards or "punchpad/islands" on many laptops, so I suggested we invest in a cherry red keyboard and she loves it. It is much more delicate/light than blacks. I have a number pad in Red and I can definitely tell the difference. If you're used to a bump on actuation-point you might have a rough time with linear at first, but both red and black feel awesome to me as they are seamless/smooth. I think overall it's very subjective. I like typing on buttery-smoothness, but have some browns on the way to test them out.
