Important questions
1) can you store apps on the flash drive?
2) if you put photos on it how do you access it, do you need a different photo app?
3) can you download content from netflix, amazon video, itunes video and use those apps?
4) can you store music from apps like Tidal and Spotify?

dealaholicYou can't directly get the music files from Spotify even if you have premium. A Spotify to MP3 converter is needed to download songs and then they'll be available to put on this.

The description does not list iPhone 8 or iPhone X. Is this not compatible with the two newest versions of Apple's phone for some reason? Or were they just accidentally omitted from the list?

LOL - @guisess93 is another person who assume the US = entire world.
Heads up: Amazon doesn't deliver stuff like this outside key locations (US, UK, EU). So the fact that it's available on Amazon.com doesn't mean anything, for those of us located in other countries.
The fact that it's made available on MD means that sometimes the rest of the world can access stuff like this without ridiculous shipping costs or ridiculous local markups.

CodsI realize that your point is absolutely correct. My bad and I apologize for it.
Nevertheless, I'm pretty sure among those who joined, there are people living in the US who are lazy/dumb enough to not do a price check. MD is great, MOST of the time, but sometimes they just aren't.
Btw, how come I don't get notification for your tag? Do you have any idea?

So guys, I’m going to be getting an iPhone X soon and don’t want the 256gb version. Will this device also store music and can the music be played from the device? I use ALAC files for my audio codec.

Soko Just checked Amazon using @guisess93's link below, and Amazon is now $10 more. Amazon's prices do fluctuate a lot - like plane tickets.

I was eyeing this as a solution for me to play my video files from my SDCards. Played around with the way the XTra Drive app behaves as a player and was quite disappointed. It's so vanilla. If the player is able to do the basic feature of 'Resume from Last Stopped', this would have been a good purchase. Hope the Naztech people are reading this. Get that app updated with good player features, please.

dealaholic 1. Can't speak to this product specifically, but I'm not aware of any third-party applications that can manage iOS application backup or restore because of all the layers of encryption and cryptographic signing iOS uses. It could be used to store an app backup created with iTunes from your PC, but probably not to install to the device from the USB stick.
2. It appears to require its own Naztech app to add files or put photos into the camera roll.
3 & 4. Not unless there's some kind of of API those providers use which integrates with the Naztech app (unlikely)
From what I can see, this device is just suited to ingest photos and videos from non-iOS devices and back up device photos.

Ok I just got one of these from the last drop. To bad it does not work. Still waiting to hear back from Naztech sent email, made 3 or 4 calls but only get message to leave message. Ok so I also got one of their backup battery's a few drops ago went to register but could not due to their website being a mess forgot completely about it until I went to register the Xtra and realized I could not because it still had the same problems and it will run you around then tell you the page is not available. Tried to contact them on the contact us web page, filled it all out wrote my comments hit submit and what do you know the same page pops up and does not submit. Ok the battery works good and seems to be well made but I sure would have like to register it. My Xtra Drive mini does not work as shipped and it does happen, what gets me is how a tech company can have such crappy customer care and how their website can be such a complete mess.
