It looks like an orange peel reflector?
Perhaps a view of the lights literature might answer my questions.

I've been playing with this light for a few days and I can't speak to the long term durability but I like it very much so far. Well built very solid feel and as bright as I expected. I'd buy another couple if Drop offers them again at this price. I've looked around and can't find a reputable place to buy another one and the nextool website is trash, they don't even have it there.

Other people are saying they got an email for shipment date of the 18th. I've got nothing regarding that and I'm in the states I've sent several emails to drop and haven't gotten any responses in almost a week

I wouldn't recommend that, shipping with Aliexpress is a nightmare right now. I'm still waiting on orders from May that are still in China.
