Got one of these when they were first released. Aside from the lack of a clip and the UI to change brightness being a bit tricky, no complaints. The actual lantern mechanism works great and is super useful, one of those things you don't realize how often you could use it until you have it. For $20 you really can't go wrong, it's not going to be your main flashlight and the brightness isn't great in a world where the Nitecore TINI and TIP exist, but it is a very unique mechanism so at worst it's fun to play with and show your friends. Would buy this again if I didn't already have too many lights.
I have one of these, they're nice. I like to set it on its tail and lay something like an index card on top, makes for a nice little impromptu table lamp. They have a more powerful 1000lm model now as well.
dolkborAAA might not last that long at those many lumens. I was wondering if they had one with CR123 battery version which has the same power, but last's longer.
Haha! Lol i said id like to see this way back in one of the other micro lantern drops. Well here it is, bravo! Course there are three different versions of it so i hope the other two get dropped too.
Hey Drop, I would be more interested in purchasing Nitecore’s LA10 CRI portable lantern instead. It appears to be a similar with only 85 lumens but with a higher CRI output. Can you offer that model instead?
