Whether you’re travelling or just storing a keyboard to try out something new, these cases come in handy. Marrying the concept of a keyboard case and a carrying case, they’re both aesthetically pleasing and utilitarian Read More
With the Pok3r RGB the lid doesn't close perfectly. The keys will be pressed as you do, though that's not the biggest issue for me. Over a few weeks the wood has also warped enough that it doesn't sit steady on the desk anymore, so I will probably have to stick something extra under one of the corners to avoid a wobble.
I installed my Pok3r in this case about 6 months ago. Apparently the wood of the case has shrunk considerably in that time. The top no longer fit around the the keycaps (DSA Patriots from SP) and the keyboard was stuck in the case's bottom! Not sure if anybody has experienced significant shrinkage, but mine became un-closable and put a major squeeze on the keyboard's main plate.
Hello All,
I am making a custom plate for this using builder.swillkb. I will be using the poker layout for holes and all, but I have a question for anyone who knows. What hole diameter should I use for this? Also, should I have the edges rounded to a certain diameter, or is squared edges fine for this case?
kjleone19Pok3r screws are M2. Remember that screws attach to the PCB, not the top plate. If you're doing a plate mount design, put the holes somewhere else, drill holes in the bottom and use spacers. Corners are rounded, I'd say 1mm, maybe 1.5.
