I got the PCB, the plate, the keycaps and almost all the switches (I'm missing one). It's also a bit lame that it doesn't come with a screw for the PCB. I would strongly recommend to stay away.

This is ridiculous. They did not send me any switches! I received keycaps, but NO switches. On top of that, I paid ten dollars for a PCB and guess what, folks? They sent me a v1.0 PCB! No switches AND the v1.0 PCB. Clever trick, guys, you got me "lol"

Alright, well, I got the PCB along with the plate... but where are the screws? >.<

Ummmm... I am still waiting on my switches from the last time this dropped. It literally only shipped the PCB and the switch test case. Switches are not included with this drop. If they are, I, along with every other person who got taken advantage of last time and apparently didn't reach out to the forum (even though there is not a single person who said that their order was shipped complete) in time are awaiting our refund.

This switch tester has dropped with different switches before. Check out the link below for additional details/pictures. Keep in mind the switches are different for sure, but there may be other revisions, such as to the PCB, as well.
At a glance it looks like:
Has diodes on PCB
Has through-hole LED holes in the pcb
Cherry pins layout only
Can fit PCB mount switches
Has 2u Costar stab cutouts on plate, but the switch mounts aren't turned on the pcb, so stabs can't be installed
Micro-USB B
PIC18F14K50 microcontroller
Not easily reprogrammable
Sends correct keypad codes

Would adding a PCB mean it ships with soldered switches? I do want to be able to test different switches more closely to how they would actually sit in a keyboard. Would this reproduce an accurate feel with the PCB option?

If you solder your switches into the PCB then this tester becomes a functioning keypad, so I'd imagine it would bring you closer to your goal.

The description says it's CNC machined, even though it's pretty clearly bent sheet aluminum

From the rough edges on the underside around the holes, it looks more like stamped to me. I could be wrong though

Does the PCB already have all diodes and resistors? Is it built for hotswap?
