Not sure if anyone is interested in this drop, got them but the lack of dynamic drivers for the bass was a killer for me. I listen to too much EDM. Would sell for $100 bucks (or best offer), only used one time. Ill even cover the cost of shipping. I would hate to use these headphones go to waste

I ordered the HEM 6s last year. My only real problem is that the ear pieces come out all the time in my ears. It’s supremely annoying. Poor peg design.

I orderer the HEM 8 in the last drop in January, and got them on February 2nd. Now, not even two months later I suddenly have now low frequencies on my right earphone, probably one of the drivers is broken. I was really happy with these IEMs. Where can I ask for an replacement?

Oh man, I just saw this because I'm having the same issues, too. It's not the drivers (which was what I initially thought as well) but the contact point with the cable is either corroded or not connecting. The right earphone would work momentarily when I switched to a new cable then it would go low again. Just 2 hours ago, I ran up the escalator to catch the train and it went back to normal and sounded great during the train ride. When I started my walk to the office, I touched the cable and it went low again. What gives?!

I contacted Massdrop the other day and we are past the 30 day warranty. I swear NuForce does not have an easy way to get a replacement or get it repaired. This sucks.

I had the problem about a cable connection on HEM8. However hard I tried, I couldn't connect the high-end OFC cable to drivers. The cause of the problem was 2 pin jacks of the drivers. They are too tight. I connected another 2 pin cable (which is not the included one with mic) and disconnected it again and again until it gets smooth. Then, I finally got the high-end OFC cable connected! It is not the best solution of this kind of problem, for there is always risk that jacks or plugs are broken. Besides HEM8, I bought HEM2 and EDC3 before, and love them all. The sound quality of the HEM series is, I think, competitive with famous earphone series, such as Westone's W series or Sony's XBA series. I hope NuForce will improve quality control and keep developing HEM series.

No. We continue to manufacture and sell these. We have regional differences though and our team in Germany apparently communicated as if these are discontinued as they're focus is not on the HEMs anymore.

I purchased these headphones months ago, they work great. However, just as warning for anyone, I contacted Massdrop as the single-braided cable with the microphone no longer worked. I was told they wouldn't do anything, even though the IEMs do have a one year warranty. Something to consider whenever purchasing from Massdrop, their customer service is poor.

Yes Nuforce's warranty department was pretty helpful to me when my braided cable started to unbraid. Wickles, I would definitely give that a shot.

Massdrop probably doesnt handle the warrenty issues... Its most likely NuForce that handles it, so try them instead. I think that massdrop is the last resort when the company isnt willing to give you warrenty when stated

I wasn't able to Connected the earphones on the first day and I actually hurt my thumb a bit.. the next day I used a magnifying glass and lined up the connection and use Force and suddenly it just connected

Thank you for your reply to my question. I also managed to connect after I had asked. The sound is worth its original price, I think. But it should not happen that a proper use of a product may hurt its user.
