A classy dress watch that’s highly legible, the Oris Big Crown Pointer Date displays the day unlike many other watches. Printed along the chapter ring is the date. As the days pass, the slim and lengthy center hand (that’s not the seconds hand) rotates to cycle through them, a constant reminder of the current day. The Arabic numerals are tall, wide, and stylized. Framing the sapphire crystal is a seashell-grooved bezel—a characteristic often found in high-end dress watches. The engine of the watch is an Oris 754 movement of 26 jewels. On a full charge, it’ll tick for 38 hours. Finally, the Big Crown Pointer Date features a stainless steel case and is water resistant to 50 meters.
