Three years ago, audio company Questyle set out to make a digital audio player that brought the hi-fi listening experience of a home-based system into a portable package. The result is the QP1, a player that stands out for its fantastic build quality, Class-A amplifier, and high storage capacity via dual card slots Read More
I’m Trying desperately to have some kind of support, writing mails to Questyle but No answer till now.
soni te on this forum, maybe they will read me finally.
my qp1r just shutdown when I plug earphone or line Jack. I did factory reset, removed cards, tried different things but the unit just shutdown when something is plugged in earphone jack. Do someone have any kind of solution?
I own the QP1R and was one of the first few people to own one of the units. I have found this DAP unrivaled in sound to many others, while being able to drive different cans and IEMs with little problem. The wheel does have problems and I won't try to lie about it. However, I did use it a while and it did loosen a bit. Strangely enough, I did vacuum around the wheel and it make it nice and now turns nicely.
As for the software issues, the QP1R on v1.0.5 has no problems I can report. After every update, I always do a reset to make sure the settings are refreshed. Its recommended by Questyle to do so. Honestly, I would love to see the Onkyo DP-X1 get dropped.
gearofwar113These units have all been updated with new fw that really makes them pretty amazing at this price, even for the full $600.00! You won't find a DAP that even comes close to this level of performance anywhere near this price!
There are only 30 of these available of only a very small quantity that were ever made! No more will ever be made, making this not only a bargain, but a collectors item as well!!
QuestyleHow does it compare to QP1R , im curious because that's only ver i've tried before. I have already had Onkyo dpx1 and Opus1 so I only want the highest possible
My goal since first reading about Questyle's DAP is to buy one by mid July (for an upcoming trip). I'd join this drop today if it was for the QP1R instead of the QP1.
Even though the differences between the two are minimal in my mind, I'm a sucker for the higher priced R model. The extra 16GB internal memory of the QP1R means little to me when you have two memory card slots. It's the "higher parts quality" of the QP1R that gets me. I suspect I wouldn't be able to hear an actual difference between the two models, but who could resist higher quality parts? haha I'm a marketers perfect dream customer.
Brilliant product . stockists like hens teeth in England. I struggle with doing any firmware updates to my QP1R hence i have not done any. Can you help ?

ltgemIt has a fully discrete, pure class A "Current Mode" amplifier inside. Current Mode works differently than other amplifiers. It will drive virtually any headphone on the market. You cannot tell what something sounds like by reading specs!
