Like a gradient in Photoshop or a path to a pot of gold, these rainbow-themed keycaps are about as colorful as it gets. Made from PBT, the set is built to last Read More
This keycap set is hideous imo, it looks like a really cheap colour job? Idk how it looks in person but from this photo this is just not the keycap set for me. I'm more into beautifully and slightly conservative keycap sets myself: currently have DSA Granite w/ dark grey text mods except blue enter and red esc, Otaku Hiragana, and SA Icecap on my boards. (Note to people interested in the SA IceCap keyset, the space bar because of the height makes a kind of hollow clacking noise that is very unlike the sound from other sets or the rest of the keys. It is not the normal key clacking, it is a much deeper and hollow sound, it's absolutely terrible. To help solve that annoying sound I bought some craft foam with 1 sticky side and cut out a few strips to line the inside so it wouldn't make a terrible clacking noise). Anyways just my feedback on these kinds of sets, they look cheap to me... This reminds me of that horrible Cherry Blossom keycap set that had the Chinese characters upside-down ffs lol.
This is the kind of thing that's so hideous it's beautiful. Like '90s tracksuits.

Would have loved a blank set 4x12 for any ortho set.
Siiiigh . . . (Hoping this passive aggressive comments will one day reach the big guys and bless us the %.0002 percent of ortho users with some of these keycaps)
Fellow Planck owner here. Don't expect these mass produced sets to get Ortholinear support anytime soon. It's just too small of a market for these chinese companies to focus on.
If you want ortho support you're better of going with the bigger players in the keycap market.
Or buying a 4x12 set of blanks and dyeing them yourself (fun 1-day DIY project).
Just got mine in, and installed. I have a Corsair K70, and I was unable to replace the following: spacebar, 2x ctrl, 2x windows key, and menu key. The space bar, though the right size didn't have the plug receivers in the right location. The others were either a little to large or small.
Do you feel you type at the same speed as on blanks? Mess ups? I really like these keycaps and will probably jump in. Usually go with Front printed so they're at least not in the way, but I would love to know your thoughts on blanks. BTW I'm a programmer, so I spend a lot of time typing.
MCDELTATIt will all comes down to your personal preference. Aesthetically, I find it better looking in blanks IMO and if I were to purchase this key set it would be for the looks not productivity.
