With 5-stars on What Hi-Fi?, the new Rega Planar 1 Plus is an improved iteration of the Planar 1, now featuring a custom-designed moving magnet phono stage based on Rega’s lauded Fono Mini. The Planar 1’s USB interface has been removed to optimize the circuit and accommodate the stage improvement on the Plus. Set up in under a minute and connect the Planar 1 Plus directly to any system with a standard line input via a standard phono-to-phono cable or a phono-to-3.5-millimeter lead. Enjoy the qualities of the Planar 1— including precision hub bearing assembly, a low-noise 24 V motor, and a handmade RB110 tonearm with a factory-fitted Rega Carbon cartridge—all while listening to your favorite LPs.
