According to the forums it has recently been outclassed by new releases so you might want to refresh/keep up to date before making the final decision. It used to be one of the best in its class though

phoenixsongI hadn’t heard of this unit until seeing this..you’ve got my curiosity piqued a bit more tho. It’s honestly, to my eyes at least, an attractive set. I just have so many Harman-tuned sets already all over the place in price and I feel like unless it truly offers something especially unique to me and is musical and lovely with the way it voices mids, for instance, or offers something else specific to this set that’s special, I probably will take your advice and not spend more money unnecessarily.

Great for price. I bought directly from the manufacturer because I didn't want to pay or wait for the DROP shipping. The color shown is very off, they're much darker in person and you don't see as much specals. Sound is great, I'm not much into Audio but I think they sound amazing.

So, Im going to add my two cents on these. I really think the tuning on these is some of the best, if not the best I have heard. That being said, the highs are mushy, as many have already said... I thought they were exaggerating but that is probably the best description. They have the ever so slightest perceivable harmonic distortion at high volumes that make them a bit disappointing. Does that make them not worth it? I don't know... Like I said they are extremely well tuned, but if the tracks are distorted, then they won't sound the greatest. They sound the best on cleaner tracks with no to very little distortion. Great with edm, clean vocals, jazz, instrumental (classical), and some pop (kpop would probably be the best genre on these). Rock, and metal would probably suffer the most, though not all metal/rock songs. I think it mainly depends on your taste in music. Also I would equate the distortion to that of using a tube amp... It make the sound kinda warm (for non distorted tracks). I guess a description of the tuning would help... They have a boosted sub bass but a flat mid bass... that is something not very common. Most bass boost go far into the mid bass, these don't. That is what separates them from other iem's. Looking at FR's the most comparable to these would be the Legacy 4's. Though I have yet to listen to them at the time of this review and I can't say for sure how comparable they are and whether the legacy 4's have the same mushiness in metal/rock tracks.

I'm searching for earbuds that sound better than my ER2XR earbuds. I saw these on HiFiGo and am intrigued. I've tried the Shanling AE3 and was not impressed. I've got a pair of BGVP NS9 earbuds coming. If those don't do it for me, maybe these will...
