Subtle Sapphire-Colored Seiko
The first thing you’ll notice on the Seiko 5 SNKD99K1 is the sapphire-colored dial. Deep blue in color, it glimmers slightly lighter when the watch is held at different angles. The next thing you’ll notice is the size of the case. Just 37 millimeters, it sits small on the wrist for an understated look. Powered by Seiko 7S26 21-jewel automatic movement, it’s got a 41-hour power reserve. Also notable are the lumed hands and indexes, the day-and-date window at 3 o’clock (also in Spanish), and the fixed stainless bezel with numerals in intervals of five. Adding to the solid construction is the stainless steel case and mineral crystal.
